The Palace Collection

The majority of the luxurious fabrics/textiles used in “The Palace Collection” are new, but woven or printed in correct period style by small manufacturers, mostly weaving for restoration objects and historical film costumes in Italy, Great Britain, France and Spain. In some of the collections though, the materials used are vintage textiles bought from specialized antique dealers in Europe.

In the “Palace Collection”, all the details such as trimmings, decorative ribbons, tassels, fringes and buttons are mostly new but of exceptional quality. All from small exclusive manufacturers producing limited stock.

Sometimes a combination of antique details, like 19th century tassel fringes, have been applied as decoration on new fabrics/textiles.When antique or vintage trimmings have been used, they derive from Gunilla Bielke´s own private collection.
